May I say how very impressed I was with the playing of Easton Band last Sunday afternoon. It is good to see the band making excellent progress under the direction of Nathan Cole and returning to its former glory. I do wish the band well for the future and trust they will continue to inspire and bless those who listen.

Hilton Baker invited me to listen to your evening meeting 30/1/2011. On it I heard, for the first time ever, my lyric 'Silent Prayers' to music by that lovely guy Chris Mallett. How fitting it is that the Songsters he once lead should be the ones that blest me with my first hearing of the piece. Beautifully sung (great diction people - the Choir is to be congratulated, along with the sound engineers - on making sure the listeners could hear every word). Thank you Easton for the clarity of your message.I hope all who heard or sang the piece will take comfort that we have a Saviour who connects with us right to the heart of our being.
