Breakfast Run

If you are around the Bus Station in Bristol early on Monday mornings, you might see some people from Bristol Easton Corps serving hot food and drinks to anyone who is sleeping rough. Up to 25 people each week are contacted and fed with hot sausage & bacon rolls and Tea/Coffee.

This service, which is organised by Mrs Ann Bruce, is staffed by volunteers, and is always looking for new helpers, drivers with cars, and people prepared to cook the food.

Day Centre for the Homeless

A variety of needy people make their way to our premises every Monday morning to be helped. From 9.30 the centre is open for coffee, tea and toast. A two or three course lunch is then provided for up to 50 people at midday. Most weeks a food parcel is also given out, and clothes may be available. Organised by Sheila Rees and staffed by volunteers, this facility provides a vital service to those in need, many of whom are homeless.

The provision of the Breakfast run and the day centre are provided free of charge. We rely upon the generosity of the local public and the business community to assist us in this very demanding work, therefore any help with food, time and donations are always gratefully accepted.

Luncheon Club

This takes place once a week on a Thursday, Tea and Coffee is served at 10.30am and a three course lunch is provided at 12.00 noon. A nominal charge of £1.50 is made for this meal. This is open to anyone who would like to attend, at the moment there are vacancies. This is followed by a meeting of the Over 60's club at 2.15pm, to which you are also welcome.

Training / Meeting Accommodation

As part of our outreach to the local community we welcome requests to use our facilities. Recently we have hosted training days, conferences and team meetings for local charities and other support groups. We ask all users to sign a Licence Agreement and to pay an agreed licence fee. To find out more, please contact the Community Projects Director Rob Jarvis on 0117 9551600. .
